Sociology Program |

Sociology at Pomona combines rigorous training in social
theory and research design with extensive attention to
social problems in communities. Holding joint appointments
or affiliations with American Studies; Asian American
Studies; Chicano Studies; Environmental Analysis; Public
Policy Analysis; Science, Technology and Society; and
Women’s Studies; the Sociology faculty members teach a rich
assortment of courses about social life and social
processes.
